Gaming of a different sort...

I've finally taken the bait. I'm playing WoW, World of Warcraft, and I'm two 12-14th Level Characters invested. Sad? No. One's a Tauren Shaman (go Horde?) and the other is a Night Elf Hunter. Besides a slight feeling of, "I've done this before, not only in this game but in so many others," there's a realization that time passes so fast in so few quests. I can see how not coming out for a day or two could be easy if you become as engrossed in the monotony of quest, quest, level up, quest.

In tabletop news, shame on me for discussing anything else, our group is getting back together again after a crazy-long hiatus that I imposed like a damned fool. Last recorded adventure for the Pathfinder party of three was February 20th. Damn. Now we're dusting off the characters, frozen in time, to run through a re-vamped campaign setting that does nothing to ruin their progress, yet gives them a bright future for their, now, 2nd Level characters! Want to play?

Then there's tonight. Tonight I join thousands in playing the Halo: Reach Beta. Here's hoping I'm quick, not only at adapting to the new controls but also at avoiding head shots. Gamertag is jonathansample. Suit up!
